another year goes by...

Wellll i turned the big 35 this week. We had quite the party this past weekend. Megan made me these awesome embroidered dish towels. Each towel has the day of the week with a cool 50s lamp on it. And of course she made one that says "Livin' in the past". She is so thoughtful and always makes beautiful things.
Thank you Megan, I promise I'll never use these to wash a dish!

  1. Indeed, happy birthday. And your Meghan sounds kind and thoughtful, sweet! Are you a Cancer or Leo?

  2. I have that same chalkware fruit! (I have the pear and the apple) My grandma had a set when I was a kid and I scoured shops and Ebay until I found a set...they're in mint condition. Love em! Found you via 50's atomic ranch house and Uncle Atom. LOVE the dish towels!!

  10. Happy Birthday, Keithy!

The pattern for the lamps came from Sublime Stitching (http://www.sublimestitching.com/vintagelamps.html). Jenny Hart is awesome - she has so many vintage-inspired patterns to offer!
